Trying to install Metatrader4 and it does not show a install screen, but eventually after a time-out it pops up a screen asking for proxy information.

This is usually a sign that winetricks winhttp is not installed on linux and that the installer cannot acccess an https site.

Can someone help me get mt4 installed on this reactos so i can try it out ?

I signed up for a 52 month donation of 15 euros a month, but it did not look like the graph moved even though it said they only need 10 people to doante to be able to hire the developers they need.

...on which version or release of ReactOS?

And where can this "Metatrader4" be obtained? Are you sure it can run on Microsoft Windows XP/Server 2003 (the ReactOS compatibility target)?

Further to middings post; have you got a working network on this computer? The reason for the failure could be, that it cannot find the Internet.

This is apparently incorrect.

Even their support website says so: https://www.metatrader4.com/en/trading-platform/help
The Client Terminal can operate under Microsoft Windows 7/8/10.

Release or version numbers are your friends. Don't neglect them.
