Preloaded with QEMU - no net, no USB??

Post by eugene335 » Sat Aug 18, 2012 4:25 am

Hi

I downloaded "preloaded with QEMU" for Windows.

Host machine is Windows7, with internet and USB drive.

When I run "boot" - system boots OK, but I don't see USB drive,
and there is no internet (Web icon in Explorer is empty; and there are no other applications for web).

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Eugene

Install Opera 9.6.4 from ReactOS Apps Manager.

I don't believe the version of QEMU shipped with ReactOS supports USB device forwarding. Even if it did, the ability to use USB stuff doesn't work in ReactOS 0.3.14 - you would need a more recent trunk build for that. Consider trying a recent trunk build using VirtialBox if you want to try that out.

Out of the box using QEMU you should be able to download additional applications using the ReactOS Application Manager.
