Hy,

if so a thing inside, in my opinion it shold be like "SIW(system information Windows)"
or like hwinfo, but so a "half"tool... dont now.. :\ not for me.. if Informations,
then right and not half, my opinion.. and for this, it's give so program's ... who be freeware.
(maby not OSS and the Factory-Informations be even not open but for be free use :) )
And it's C++, this what be now programming, shold be in c+ or asm, so i had hear it...
the Rosplorer² (NewExplorer) shold be totaly writing in c+ how i had hear.. and now a c++ programm ??
no, imho not realy good... You can help on new explorer rewrite...
this is in C+ and at moment it's only a scelett, so i had hear .... shold be go to done :D it's only my opinion,
what't the Developer say it's the rights .. ....... .. but, i know, i be not a programmer and no developer,
i told only what i had hear ....

best regards

ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Translation:

If you integrate such a tool into ROS, in my opinion it should be like "SIW(system information Windows)" or like hwinfo, but such a limited tool... I dont know.. :\ If giving Informations, then the right way and not stopping half way to the goal... And for this task, there are open Apps. (Maybe not OSS and the Source could be not open but for free use :) ) And it's C++, which is not so beloved here, it should be in C or asm, at least I read it here this way. The Rosplorer² (NewExplorer) it a total rewrite in C, unlike the old C++ one and now a c++ program ?? No, imho it is not really a good idea... You could help on the explorer rewrite... It is in C and at the moment it's only a sceleton .... :D It's only my opinion, what the Developers say may be more correct .. ....... .. but, I know, I am not a programmer and no developer, I only told what I had heard ....

Opinion:

C++ is accepted, too. I support his idea, if he gets it mature.

I am not a developer, but I can make a design of that "SIW(system information Windows)"

If i make a more function of software e.g refresh button work and "cancel"

Sorry but, I dont know other 'easy to use" C develop tools. It is only C++ or C#.
I know about http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/ and http://developers.sun.com/jsenterprise/ .

EmuandCo: will you Commited it, if I make this software to work better and add it to bugzilla?

Where will it be add to?

E.g base\applications or \dll\cpl ?

If you want a C IDE that isn't Visual Studio, give Code::Blocks a try. It can import MSVC and Dev-C++ projects and is free, open source and cross-platform.

i think it's the best as cpl in Systemcontrol :\
but... if all programming inside of ROS who need other
programms who be freeware, take a look in IExplorer and outlook :\
hard live for Mozilla ... other shold can be make more as one programm..
for installing.. oky, as a programm for Download! not by standart installation
it's oky, but it shold be ever possibile to use other program as only
one who be installed :\ The human is lazy, but you must not use or
support in some way .. we should focus more on the surface system and programming.
But whant realy make it, so make it in the controlpanel and by side a program like
startup from mlin.net as cpl too . imho

Nice to gauge the system to an extent ...

But yes, should be more fully featured (as in more information centered than numbers):
*should have years of the component (to gauge the future-proofness)
*hardware
*maintenance status (disk fragmentation, disk space, registry, etc.)
*networking status (packets in out, DNS, a little bit of speed gauge)

and etc. etc.

And, most importantly, it shouldn't slow down the system. It can monitor it, but please, no memory leaks ;) !!

I think ReactOS need also a "ReactOS Software update" like vista have.

I will olso make this in Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition.

by all means go ahead, but we have no use for such a tool and it won't be included in reactos

That is boring to only have the old windows 2000/XP feature.
If ReactOS think about new technology of software and add a more software, Like vista/windows 7 and also have more version of it!

(E.g now ReactOS that can called "ReactOS Basic version" more like windows 98/2000). And ReactOS "Advanced version" can compare with vista/windows 7. But it can be pussible to select what they want have in the install. Like linux operating system.

Will more people change to ReactOS instead of microsoft. (Of course is someone that must buy Windows with a computer.)

That ReactOS is today, it is some old computer (from year 1998) or some Asus EEE pc that is point to change OS to ReactOS. (vista is to slow for this computer).

But if some it interest of my change, look at Bug 3709

I will of course use ReactOS in Vmware or some of my old computer, but hardware be better and better and it not point to use it on the latest hardware.

I'm only letting your know so you don't waste your time developing it, thinking we will include it.

That tool was introduced in Vista because Vista requires a modern computer to run. We don't have this problem, so the tool is rather useless.
It's more important to keep the size of the OS down than it is to fill it full of software.

Also, there's no such thing as Reactos basic and reactos extreme.
There will be 1 OS which will be both a desktop and server OS. This is how Vista and 2k8 are now. They use exactly the same binaries, the OS is just configured slighty differently.
