How about just a little metal sticker with the ROS logo on it without any words? It would indicate ROS is on it.

and had take a Font with "Backround" from Xerox

Rather than have this as a "ReactOS certified" label, why not use it in a manner similar to "Best viewed in Firefox" or those "Linux Inside" stickers some people stick on their machines? Essentially, it could be a way for Windows application developers to show their support for ReactOS.

Alternatively, it could be used by third-party programs that aren't "officially" part of the ReactOS project - sort of like how Non-GNU is for projects that are GNU-related but not actually GNU.

I like the idea of having something that shows working apps in ROS (for the apps themselves), but I think that one is a tad too big. We need something small that gets the point across.

And what do you suggest? Any smaller, and I'd have to make new text in that orb.

Or... I can make the orb show a small section of the app in question working. But then app makers would have to edit that themselves. (Also, any smaller (IE: 88 x 33) and the app screen will no longer work. Although I can make the app screen fade in the background behind the "ReactOS" text and just have the orb blank.

I recall that Blackcrack uses *s* for "smile" and *bg* for "big grin."

Yes, that would be nice, but I hate inkscape, the line tool isn't as stable as Flash's (since it makes you edit [curve points], flash doesn't do that, it [BENDS the entire line at once]. I don't think Flash CS3 can export svg either. (No, it can't, I just checked.) You can't even convert SVG to flash, at least not very well.
