ShellWM (oops, website got b0rked) is a tiny interesting GPL app, which was used for skinning windows back in Win9x era.
If someone hacks up this app to be more OS-integrated (like a more generic name, conveniently accessible options panel, etc.) it can be a stop to all ROS skinning shite in this forum.
No, I don't ask it to be in ROS (but if it does end up in ROS, there's pure profit in the air)
P.S. Oh! I just realized that ShellWM is potentially hackable to accept .msstyles (and they're the same old shitty DLLs). Edit it a little bit more to fit as uxtheme.dll and we have one more component of the system done.
Just found an interesting OSS skinning app.

BTW, i believe that involving those projects developers into ROS could be mutch productive, IMHO.forart wrote:Posted: Sat Dec 02, 2006 11:32 am Post subject: Theme manager
Since i'm trying to involve theme artists, ROS have a great limit: no theme manager.
Wanna understand if anyone is interested.
note: i found the Illumination that could help... what do you think ?
