older Versions:

text only:

NOTE: the files require Inkscape greater or equal 0.45 which support the blur filter

Where can I find the ReactOS Font to complete the logo?
Best regards :D

edit:
There is another file, but it is over 7 MB's big (decompressed):
http://svn.reactos.org/viewcvs/reactos/ ... media/art/
additionally the svgz file is not error-free downloadable

Well thats quite a good copy of the original, in SVG :)
Don't know about the font, though...
Keep on going :)

Nice work! :D
ReactOS font appears to be "Century Gothic".

I couldn't find a more similar font ;)
Also try to just draw it with lines if you can since Century Gothic isn't a standard font so not everyone will have it.

Yes you need that white glow ;)
Other than that excellent job! :D
It would be perfect if it weren't for the fact that not every computer has Century Gothic on it :P

Edit: I love the fact that your site is called "gateshater"

The file seems to be damaged

however,
I made the white glow, but maybe you need inkscape 0.45 to open it, because this Version support blurring

It seems that the online subversion repository breaks the file. See if you can get it using tortoisesvn.

...

This tortoisesvn-msi Version seems not to be supported on my old-windows Partition which I use once a month ;)

I found and downloaded the AvantGarde Bk Bt font, but the "R" and "s" are different on my Computer, too.

Good work! This version is way better than the official one. The official one is over two and a half MB large (as svgz still 1.8MB), and neither works in firefox or in Wikipedia. Also: good work on the letters! As far as I can see they are completely the same! I would stick with this, because right now, you don't have to have any fonts installed to view the svg.

I've uploaded both the official PNG logo as your SVG version on Wikipedia. You can compare them pretty good there: the differences are minimal. The official one has for example more blank space around the image. Also, the line surrounding the atom are a bit smaller. There is also a very weird bug with the height of your image (also in Firefox; I don't have a clue where that comes from). Perhaps if you could fix this, the ReactOS article could start using your SVG logo!

I'll see what I can do. I created it with Inkscape. Height bug fixed right. :)

What surroundig line you mean? When I place the svg over the png I can't see any such eye-catching differences. Maybe you mean thinner?

I know it isn't eye cathing. And yes, I meant thinner.
