I don't think the yellow works for me.

The blue and green are nice. Thinking my closet is filled with Blue Green And Black. Might be a taste problem with me.

I like the black one as well.

I know this sound strange can the skin be generated either on demard or to users own preference. If I fancy pink or the like be able to remix threw a simple tool.

chose your colors users, and mark it.
here are pastel colors :D

you can also write your favorite color like taht #ff2255 or 255.34.85
i will make full previews
eh, I like that red. a friend of mine had its Windows classic in some dark red, didn't look very good, but your skin with your red could be nice.

I like those version, where the lines go all the way through :)

Is it possible to try a version which has a curve like on the system tray on the other side, like on the start menu to even it out? Maybe on just the one side of the start button facing the inside?

Yes, impressive, but would you like to see only taskbar in this theme and windows in normal style? There should be designed all of user interface, not only some chosen components. First GUI It should be COMPLETE.

Can't you make it that you can choose the colours to use. Just like the title colour gradient? so instead of using bitmaps draw it directly like the gradient

I recently began coding the appearance tab of the desk.cpl, where you can choose colors, but it needs some time to be finished, I got a lot of other things to do at the moment. But it looks like I should hurry ;-)
The winXP implementation lacks a little of diffent objects. There's only 3D objects. When you make all 3D objects look like that, it will look horrible ;-)
So there would be a need to select color for different UI elements.
kokodin, can you try to make a full screen with some windows, menu and some controls?

Did you see what Ged created?

Image

I think it's great! A+ 8)
(I think you should come back to UI development now since mf is not coordinator anymore... You did a very very great job with the gui, in fact you are the only one who did something... mf created 5 icons in six months and that's it, he didn't do anything beside ranting and moaning)

Ged's moving in the right direction.

I love the CLI built into the explorer window!!

Why does the sub-menu bar need maximize, minimize and close buttons?

Those looks nice, anyhow no offense to your design.
I really dont like the 3D look's it gives me a pretty odd feeling i cant function in a such envoirment. Well that's just my taste and that dosent mean that i think it's crap It's nice but not my taste.

However here we have a really nice result = D
Iam not a fan of the Classical Windows look nor the Luna look,
but this is from my point of view much better than a 3D looking interface.

Something i really would looking forward to see is ReactOS with Windows standard Windows, and with the Luna Toolkit look for the whole userinterface look. Yes i really dont like the blue luna Windows etc, but the toolkit look of Luna is really smooth sweet and nice.
Anyhow nice work = D
