Some more investigation of the magnetic signatures of one the 1940s encrypted hard drives salvaged from the wormhole, a SeeTor FestPlatte typ S-225, has allowed some later versions of the inter-personel discussion tool (chat) to be extracted. The above image shows the recreated tool in action with the associated real-time clock that we were unable to show before. Note that the Fire button is still present (obviously a leftover from some previous weapons control usage) but it now only has the function to 'buzz' the user at the other end of the line and not destroy him...

Ok, now it's official. Our politicians propaganda was actually correct and not a lie:
"Querdenker wie ich sind nur auf Internetseiten mit rechter Gesinnung unterwegs."

Nationalism != right wing, even if some people try to combine that all the time. And here it's not even nationalism as he is no german. Lets call it historism?
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Actually, it is alternatism and I'm still fighting the cold war for the Allied cause in that reality. Mind you the Allies (Great Britain, India and Greater Australasia) are having a hard time fighting the Axis, (Angela's Germany, Trump's fascist USA and Bulgaria) whilst Russia has collapsed into a criminal conspiracy (some things are always the same).

Some sorting of the data bits continues...

The digital archeology that our experts are so adept at has allowed the re-creation of certain elements that were initially missing from the first iteration.

We have now re-created the real-time clock and the sound recording system. The real-time clock was displayed as generated from a remote time signature broadcast directly from Berlin from the dome of the Volkshalle, giving Deutsche Standarten Zeit throughout the Reich.

The sound functionality now recreated allowed the playing and recording of encrypted audio messages that could be transmitted in a burst fashion. Generally these were used to broadcast "mein befehl", orders directly from the Fuhrer and other subordinates.

Both of these new functionalities have been recreated using digital archeology for the modern historian to take note of and to experiment with. Living history as it were.

Note these technologies were created using a primitive coding tool known colloquially as VB6, or in full VergeltungsBetrieb Sechs.

Now we know why the Reich has fallen. Everything which was called something like Vergeltung didn't work.
I wonder how you got this "Leitstandsoberfläche zur Befehlsausgabe an elektronische Rechenmaschine" working.
😁🤣

We scanned the original documentation and source code using adapted OCR scanning software that is suited to reading primarily gothic script. VB6 using the default gothic font is hard to work with but the IDE was not designed for pleasure...
The images that comprise the utility were obtained from microdot black and white films originally obtained through the Allies spy network under the auspices of the SOE. The images were blown up and the scale determined by comparison with known elements on MBOS. The interpretation of the utility's colours is fairly accurate based upon eye-witness accounts extracted from living persons who actually used the utility. These eye-witness testimonies have to be extracted through the wormhole without the witness being aware, a very complicated process as you can imagine. We wouldn't want the other-dimensional Nazis knowing that we exist on this side of the wormhole...

Some more digital archeology. Under the Luftwaffe Headquarters building or rather the Detlev-Rohwedder-Haus, in its subterranean vaults, was found a stash of materiel relating to MBos. Some ancient wire-based spooled recording devices were found. These were normally used for recording voice information in analogue form but in this case an endless wire loop spool was discovered that was over 3.34 miles long (5.37km). It contained data in excess of 143mb and filled a spool of one metre in diameter. It has taken us a while to decode, extract the data - and once again we realise we have discovered a backup of raw code in a human-readable form. The translation from VB6 ( VergeltungsBetrieb Sechs) and gothic type sets has taken a while but it has been achieved.

I cannot post it here as an attachment as the forum is throwing a wobbly or "einen Wackelwurf werfen" as they might say in Germany.
You'll have to see it in the original form at imgur.

It shows a rotating earth widget using VB6 on a modern linux desktop running Wine. Next job is to see if the same program can run in ReactOS as well as MBOS.
