This is a project to build a set of graphics and UI elements based around the motifs originally established in the ReactOS Soft Blue image set (which has since been committed), drawing influences from modern UI designs (such as Windows 10 and KDE Plasma).
This is a work in progress, with this thread intended to track changes to the Mizu theme and related assets for those interested.

Latest Build (g573c712): https://fox.furcode.co/reactos/mizu_bootcd.iso

Re: Project Mizu
Looks nice and simple. Maybe even the "I prefer NO theme, but classic 9x look" guys will be happy with it.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes
Re: Project Mizu
Beatiful!
The only downside are the old desktop icons but those aren't part of the theme.

I am one of those and I do like it to a point, but, the desktop background atom is huge, the taskbar colour is too close to the desktop background colour.
I like the colours here, but not the desktop background colour and everyone has their own personal taste.
What does "Mizu" mean?
Please keep the Windows classic (9x/2000) look and feel.

Re: Project Mizu
Me too, except the logo of the start menu.
Re: Project Mizu
I do not like the all white Explorer window; could you give it some colour.
I have read, that Victor would like to see more themes (see this post). So when you have finished this, could you create an high contrast theme, for those people who have problems with their vision (just a suggestion).
This is a useful tool for checking the contrast.

I don't like the bald-headed bloke with the comb-over in the corner. Having him hide there like that scares me a little. Is it Wally?
