Yes..yes? Have you even read the Themes wiki page? You're describing exactly what I outlined there.Duck wrote:So the next step is to elliminate the need for resource hacker like software in ros. The Icon manager should (must) have full power. If the idea is to elliminate windows limitations... Thats the way to go i think.
Having a icon manager will make everybody happy as everyone can have their OS their way. (And end lots of dumb discussions too)

Re: icon making wizard
If you're looking for a tool to make icons with, I'd recommend @icon sushi. It's free, and has useful features like PNG import/export.Duck wrote:Talking about icons, it would be great if a the user had some kind of wizard to make a ros icon out of an image... Just a candy for the masses

Yes, something like that (@Icon Sushi) could be included in ros

kokodin, I see you have managed to use your old account again, congratulations!
I like those icons they are simple and recognisable (is that spelled correct?) maybe a little too much reflection and the 16 cols could be smoothed a bit, but nice.
I think standard icons shouldn't be too detailed, but easy to recognise even with 16 cols and very small. I prefer the old red favorites star of firefox to the new book with a blue thing in it, because it's easier to recognise on first view.

Nice, but some of them (the CD-unit, for example) seems too "photoish" in my opinion.kokodin wrote:say something about my .
