I haven't seen a topic for this here, so I decided to create it.
The idea here is to talk about non-critical features that'd be nice to have in future, after alpha state.
If you get a good idea or find something intresting from somewhere, please post it here.

Here's my crappy example:
Animated wallpapers.
Rendering some 2d things won't eat much of the power of a modern PC.
Could work similiar way as screensavers.

What you're asking for is called Active Desktop.

And, actually, I'd like that too. It's an awesome idea, in concept. I'd love to make a really fancy JavaScript/HTML5 animated web page and set it as my wallpaper.

I'd call it more like just animated or live wallpaper. From what I remember, active desktop did actually interactive websites as the wallpaper.

I doubt very much that implement some of these ideas.

While using a mac I came across a small, but handy feature. When removable media is inserted it gives a shortcut to it in desktop.

Do you think live paper on window desktop is possible? NOt touch screen but wallpaper can move

It is possible as it is on Windows too (https://store.steampowered.com/app/4319 ... er_Engine/), but it eats your resources for breakfast. Well maybe not yet, but in future when ROS's compatibility increases even more.
