I was just messing around with the Gnome icon theme in ReactOS and this is what I got. Please note that we are NOT switching to the Gnome icon theme any time soon. Please note that this it still a WIP.

Great! Gnome icon theme is MUCH better than the current one.
* It is quite similar to Windows icons
* It is currently maintained by the Gnome team so it would not be a problem to get the necessary icons for something new
* It suits well the blueish-gray Reactos design and pallette.

Strange, but the Gnome icons make ReactOS look more old-fashioned than the original.

well, an Icon-Theme-Manager would be cool into reactos !
i have an png-icontheme and a svg icontheme too,
would be nice if be both be support as icon in reactos
