Home Wifi passphrase
I have wifi here at home that requires a password or passphrase. Is there a tutorial on how to gain access to a home network using ReactOS?
Re: Home Wifi passphrase
What does this have to do with ReactOS?
You should know by now that if something can be done in Windows then it stands a decent chance of operating in ReactOS either now or some time in the future. However, questions like this are not specific to ReactOS and thus should be directed towards Windows.
Go and find the solution for Windows - and therefore the internet is your friend.

If your question is - can wifi work on my specific computer within ReactOS?
Provide details of your machine, the type, hardware config &c, the same for the wifi components. Others who may have experience may then have half a chance of helping you. Please note that ReactOS is not ready for use and you should expect nothing to operate in a usable sense. If you are merely testing then a fail is a valid test, if you are attempting to use ReactOS then please use another o/s until ReactOS is ready.

Re: Home Wifi passphrase
wlanconf is a Linux command. I am running on bare metal not a virtual box. A Dell 2100 machine to be exact. I have a RealTek RTL8187SE Half mini pci-e Wireless WiFi WLAN card on order as I type. On my linux machines there is a dialog that appears asking for a password or passphrase. How do I accomplish the same with ReactOS?

Re: Home Wifi passphrase
This is ReactOS command/executable.
I posted a link in the message above, it seems you just ignored it.

@altoviolinist:
Windows and Linux have some commands with the same name (cd, echo, exit, ping, nslookup). Check for instance www.geeksforgeeks.org/linux-vs-windows-commands/. And well, please read https://reactos.org/wiki/Supported_Hard ... work_cards.

ReactOS does not support WPA/WPA2 wireless networks yet, only Open and WEP.
