If intended to end up there, then hopefully yes. Next best option is the current system of posting in the forums. Worst case, we'll see nothing, and with no agenda (discussion topics) being available such a meeting's content would remain a mystery.

Well, the one making it and/or the one who was going to put it up there. ;)

There just needs to be a link on the homepage/newssection which links to the already existing May meeting minutes-page (granted, it seems a bit short this time, but maybe it's still not completely finished). z98 already agreed to this if I remember correctly, so , it can't take all that much time. The only thing needed is a bit of patience, I believe. :)

It will be a great boon to publicly perceived activity if we continue to do this, me thinks.

Edit: I see you put it there; thanks, z98.

I presume we will do the same for the June-minutes, in a week or so?

I notice the meeting minutes of June aren't up there yet (on the homepage, newssection). I hope the people in charge of it haven't forgotten about it?

files > 4gb is a must have and im happy UDF has better preformance and is open.
But im a bit worried about the missing journaling-feature, i dont want always to loose files when my dog hits the power cable

UDF, XFS, ZFS, <pick your letter in the alphabet>FS ;) are all useless, as long as IFS is not working, which will not work w/o CC with will not work without MM, with will not (be) work(ed on) without a new drupal site working. :D
So, since community opinion is asked :) , I would say that spending time on UDF is a waste of developers' resources. Unless, of course, there is a developer that want to work only on that: a hack to make UDF somewhat work in current ROS (but will be thrown away once IFS is working), adding probably some subtle bugs in disk read/writes in the process. UDF itself lends to this, with its many revisions, that not all the OSes support the same way (some examples are given in the Wikipedia). Also, I can't imagine anyone doing photo/video editing or database server on current versions of ROS, and I don't see any other applications that will need files larger than 4GB and disks > 2TB. And if really-really needed, one can play with clusters > 32kB or even sectors > 512B.

To sum it up: FAT is not ideal, but at this stage of the project it is "good enough (for everyone)"

Concerning point 2 ("social" buttons on the new Web site): It would be nice for registered users to have an option in the control panel to disable them completely . But then this is only me. :D

On point 3 (fireball's lectures): Thank you for making the (translated) slides available.
I still think that a video recording of the lecture on/about ROS will be an asset, because:
- Good PR.
- Serve as introduction for new developers.
- Can be shown on various conventions. Top of the top: ROS running a video about ROS on all the computers on the booth. :D
- Can be included on ROS LiveCD/Installer as a bonus/part of help/SDK.
