Cisco VPN Client
Java 1.4.2
infor XA Browser
IBM iSeries Access 5.8
Windows Essentials Codecs
Cisco Unified Communicator
Cisco Call Center (Requires Java 6...)
Firefox 4.0
Chrome 10.x
grep for windows
Spiceworks 5.1 Beta III
AOL Instant Messenger

SQL Express 2005 or 2008

I personally believe that if ReactOS can get to a level of stability and compatibility that is comparable to even Windows 95 then it will start to see some actual usage in small sectors.

And for those that don't remember, Win95 was a joke when it came to stability, but back in the day everyone used it and was thrilled to have it. There is certainly room for ReactOS to be successful.

I bet If a big company could throw a few bucks as incentive to the developers, you might just get those apps to run

Trust me, we're anything from big.
Personally I'd love to donate, though I'm not sure how much needs to be donated (time, money, etc) before we can get this project moving faster, if thats even possible. I'm impatient :)

Windows 95? You mean, no USB support, no real .net, no IE, Chrome or FF support (officially), unstable, unable to support large drives before R2, etc etc.

I know what he tries to say. It doesn't mean we will only run stuff from nineties, it means it will be good enough for some of the usages, though not perfect.

In some ways, Windows 95 was more stable than Windows 98. Windows 98 was more compatible with things and supported more hardware, but it needed frequent reboots. NT-based OSs were much more stable. After using 98, I installed 2000, and I was surprised at the stability when compared to 98.

And I like the idea. If we can get Reactos to where it is stable and has the most used functionality, then those able and willing to use it and wait for future versions, they might be willing to pay us at least a fraction of what they would pay MS, or even send volunteers. We just need to get them hooked.

(that is, find bugs, get logs, report them, etc....)
