we cant give a timeframe for completion and I think you know that...
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes

The front page only says that the OS is not suitable to use it now. But there's no information about when it will be ready.

If somebody will honestly say that it must take ages, given the current speed of the development progress, for ReactOS to reach a usable state, then it can turn people away from here. But otherwise, people will wait and, as time passes, become more and more disappointed…
I have faith in ReactOS and if you follow the project you'll see always incredible improvements that will make it suitable for everyday use imho in not such a long time. And remember that Win8 will be still WinNT so...

That's one giant leap for developers; one small step for ReactOS. :)

Some people seem to be too enthusiastic and think that such huge amount of work can be accomplished "in not such a long time" by a small group of people. This is where that “Disaster!” comes from…

And, however, you can think that after you use it with the warning about usability, but if you are not warned, and think "Look this OS, it says it's about to be ready for production machines" you will be dissapointed, and then you will send the project to... wash the dishes :P

Has it been established whether the next release is likely to be 0.3.13 or 0.4?
