why do not directly enter in reactos the new wine internet explorer?

Because its just a Firefox in disguise. If one wants FF, he can download and install it on ROS. We are strictly against bundling any browser in ROS.

Not strictly against. Just strictly against anything that isn't using the Win32 API.

I assumed you were going to have a wrapper so that Mozilla pretends to be an IE plug-in. Because lots of apps(eg steam) uses it a lot. Or is it planned to re-write this also?

IIRC, there exist some kind of wrapper wich is used actually for linux, called IE4Lin, I'm not sure if it in fact runs like a FF plugin, but if it does it should work for ROS.

we just need wine's mshtml.dll. their internet explorer does nothing more than providing a gui for it. and as everyone knows, we already use this dll inside ros
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

so in theory could be included in reactos for having a familiary built-in browser (a bit like the other wine's clone app)? (google translate :oops: )

another sidenote. we already include iexplore.exe from wine. but this is not all we need. there are more components, some synched too, some not and those cant be synched easily
