last night i tried the live cd version.

i have a Toshiba satellite notebook

1.73 processor
3 GB Ram

touch pad didn't work the first time but did the 2nd time

Nice that it works. maybe you can provide us with debug logs of the non working state? http://reactos.org/wiki/Debugging Maybe it has a Serial Port.
