When you press a power button on a machine, or through Start Menu? Menu works, button does not work.

I noticed that in the commit log there was an update to the ACPI driver in trunk version 45733. Not sure what all this update entails but you might want to try a build after that one just in case.

First of all I don't know to which one version of ROSBE I should apply. In CIA there were so many entries corresponding to ROSBE about changing things... I've heard about patch, i don't know even how to install it. I also worried about another redownloading of the whole source :( Also I don't know where to download the latest possible ROSBE.

After r45535, the latest version, 1.5.

You download it just once, then update it.
Also I don't know where to download the latest possible ROSBE.
From SourceForge site.

And all that can be found in the wiki by simply searching for it...
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...

OK. Newest ROSBE up and running.
Strangely (or not ;) )in the specified file ACPI seems to be enabled now by default...

It is NOT. You build it, nothing more!

I think I got it. The file specified seems to not changed from the last time when I downloaded source, so my change was kept untouch :)
Maybe I will do something like Arwinss post, that means I will release my ACPI enabled ROSes ;)

I just tried rev. 45746 in QEMU. "Turn Off" does not work.
