reactos.com is showstopper for 0.3.0

Post by Sami » Wed Apr 20, 2005 7:28 am

I think 0.3.0 will be huge step for ReactOS and it will have lot of world wide interest 8)
That is the reason why I am conserned about the reactos.com website. I think everything has to be as much up to date as possible so that new people will have good first impression of ReactOS. I am no conserned about the desing of reactos.com, I think it is good as it is now.

So I think that reactos.com website not beeing up to date is show stopper for 0.3.0 release.
Everyone please give your opinion of this. Lets make reactos.com better!

Yes there is. Does anyone know will that be ready before 0.3.0. If not, then the information in "old" pages should be updated before release.

I voted for not to release new versions until web page does have information about it.

That's because I use RSS, and when I see a new version I download it, and also write about ReactOS on some forums. Those people at forums go through the links, and see at reactos web page that nothing about new version is there.

That is my opinion

i think that it is a show stopper.

also with the 0.3 release this will bring many new users and (hopefully) devolpers into the ReactOS community, a system needs to be in place to use these new people on a effective way, tasks, missions etc

i think the system for deal with new people AND the website are a must for the 0.3 release.

And if we can get to the source html files earlier we could start already. I dont have much spare time, but enough to make a bit of translation here and there, if it were just easier for me to access to the original sources...

PD: Huma, si quieres ponte en contacto conmigo en ReactOS_translate[at]yahoo[dot]es si quieres que te ayude en la traducción.
