It's still a hundred times faster than qemu though, even with kqemu running

Nope, Qemu+kqemu is at least as fast as vmware server when in gui.gfx mode, and a lot faster in text mode.

I was told about this project by a friend, and i just basically want to say well done! It was about time that someone tried doing this, after all there are open source versions of DOS. AT the moment i am trying to convert all my computers to linux, however its causing havoc trying to convert. With ROS i believe i could leave a copy on the PC to dual boot if i have to, unline the bloated MS versions!

I hope you finish this soon, it will probably be better than the original!

Once again, Thanks

Iain

If you want you can ask me questions about any problems you're having, I'd be happy to help :)

Its alright, its mostly the fact that there are some thing that i am loathe to do, such as leave behind years of MS conditioning!
