ReactX Logo Contest Options
This is it people, the time where you get to choose which logo will be the official ReactX logo. Go to this page: http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/ReactX and pick your favorite. The number above will be its label. So choose that number in the polls. Note that I didn't bother adding in a lot of the variations people made of a single design. That's because once we have the design, the color scheme is fairly easy to work out.
The poll will run for about five weeks, after which we will take five finalists and make a final decision from there on how to proceed. I myself will not be voting right away and neither will GreatLord. That ensures that no favoritism is visible as no one will be able to tell when we voted.
Also, feel free to "campaign" in this thread. Since the poll is at the top, the results won't get cluttered anyways.

Z98, from time to time it I'm not being able to see the right nr. 12 the yellow/grey one (http://www.imgplace.com/directory/dir74 ... 0_5750.png) and I see just the blue one (http://meklort.isa-geek.com/~againstgat ... _text1.png)
since it seems to be the most voted until now, it 'd be better to transfer it somewhere else?
Is number 12 both of the above pics? I can't really understand it, those don't seem derivative...

With a poll like this (where there are so many options, and so many alike), I think it is best to have a final round after, where the 5 most vote get voted on again. Else what could happen is one is unique, so it gets 10 votes, but another 3 are alike. They get 8, 7 and 5 votes. Now that design really has 20 votes, but would have lost to the other one cause it has split the votes. So I think it best to have a second round to get what most people will be happy with (and if you get the same outcome, then you have more knowledge of what people want).

It compiles, let's ship it!
I should get some more sleep, thanks!mf wrote:*cough*Phalanx wrote:With a poll like this (where there are so many options, and so many alike), I think it is best to have a final round after, where the 5 most vote get voted on again. As I noted in the wiki, I'm keeping duplicate/variations of designs to a minimum. The image you're referring to is represented by entry #12. Once we know the style that wins, we'll sort out how to deal with the variations.dj50 wrote:@Z89
Could you please add to No.12 the original version found here: http://www.dj50.ro/dl/reactx
