Wine overtake, any guesses?

I've heard that ReactOS has more potential than the Wine Project, for obvious reasons that there's probably more potential for compatibilty if your not dealing with a thin compatibility layer.

However do we have any guesses as to when, perhaps release number etc, ReactOS will actually start getting better results than wine?

In answer, the second that we finally get ~90% of the Kernel code done. ReactOS will get better compatibility because of the little issue were WINE has to relate to the Linux kernel parts. We have the actual Windows parts reimplemented into new source.

A guesstimate would be that by 0.4.5ish we will be seriously compeating with WINE in the application space and have significant driver support, which WINE has none.
