It started as a discussion about implementing something on the paint replacement in ReactOS, so it's nominally still on topic. Somewhat tenuous, but I'm willing to let it stay.

I think, for a fair comparison, we'd have to see what the NN method is capable of when it's not just optimised for landscapes.

Could someone host the NN photo on somewhere not hosted by "gateshater.ga.ohost.de"? I always fail to view those images...

For the record, I plan to pull imagesoft apart over the summer and start again.

Much of the stuff in there was done in a manner to suit my dissertation. Now that's out of the way, it can be rewritten in a better manner.

Cool, I'll be looking forward to seeing the results. Do you intend it to be like an MS Paint clone, or something more advanced like Paint dot Net?
