Most of the devs and testers probably use gcc 3.4.5, few (at or only Thomas?) using gcc 4.x

Some testers use 4.1.1 and 4.0.0 They do pickup bugs. But need custom hacking to work.

I am using Dev-Cpp (because of the great package manager) with
- gcc-core 3.4.5-20060117-1
- gcc-g++ 3.4.5-20060117-1
- binutils 2.16.91-20060119-1
- MinGW runtime 3.9
- GNU make 3.80.0-3
- NASM 0.98.39

That works fine.

Interesting. Is there a guide on how to set up Dev-C++ to compile the ReactOS sources? I use Dev-C++ all the time and would love to use it with the ReactOS sources but I'm not really an expert when it comes to configuring compilers, make-files etc...

thanks!

many of the dlls,drivers,apps,libs and other components also compile with msvc. full compilation in msvc is also a goal
