Hi everyone,
I’ve recently started experimenting with ReactOS and I’m planning to install it on one of my Core i5 laptops. Before diving in, I just wanted to check—how is the Wi-Fi support in ReactOS these days?
Has anyone had success getting wireless connectivity working on Core i5 laptops, especially with Intel adapters? I’m excited about the potential of ReactOS for older but capable hardware, and getting Wi-Fi up and running would make it even more practical.
Thanks in advance for any insights!
Is Wi-Fi functional in ReactOS on Core i5 laptops?

It isn't core i5 laptops that is the issue, that is just the CPU type. It is the support for the specific type of hardware that is particular to your machine, in this case the wireless card amongst other components. You haven't mentioned the laptop brand/type and what is in it, so it is impossible to say whether ReactOS would work or not.
A rule of thumb is that ReactOS is more likely to run on older h/w that would be able to run XP, though ReactOS development continues apace and newer hardware is being added to the supported hardware 'list' on a regular basis.
Please be aware that you should not be 'using' ReactOS at this stage in its development .It is only suitable for playing/testing the o/s itself and how it operates to see what it breaks. It will break and/or fail so don't trust it with your data/valuable machine.
Have fun with it but that's about it at the moment. Feel free to join the community and explore further, all welcome.

Hi the last time I checked, the only security protocol that ReactOS can use was WEP and open. Have a look at
