What browsers work with ReactOS in 2022?
Genuinely asking because I use ReactOS in virtual machines in place of Windows as a bridge to transfer files between other open systems (that don’t support additions packs in the clients I use) and the host I use. I used to be able to pull up Firefox in ReactOS to fetch cloud hosted files on the bridged drive in the weird event I needed them from the inside of the VM environment. But from when I last used ReactOS, the latest Firefox didn’t work anymore. I did get Chrome to install but it didn’t work. What does work in summer 2022 (added for context)? I know there’s other browsers like Vivaldi but try them on ROS and you’ll see what I mean. So… is there anything that runs and works? Thanks!

Have a look here, some Firefox problems are mentioned there:

Maybe try some older Firefox versions?
Greetings

ReactOS is in early development phase! And ReactOS is not Linux.

Using Firefox 48 from rapps right now on 0.4.15-g8a3db97, it works fine though 52 doesn't work. Mypal 68 also doesn't work, but the original (also in rapps) does.

Currently using: 0.4.15-x86-dev-4872-g8a3db97 (VirtualBox)
Pretty good so far, keep up the good work!
Formerly tested on: Dell Inspiron 2200, HP Pavilion p7-1155, want to test on: Dell Inspiron 8500, custom-build ROS machine (P4 2.8GHz, GF6800 Ultra)

Yeah. Known problem. There is a hackfix for that problem, too. Real fix still in progress...
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Hello,
ReactOS browser compatibility can be inconsistent. Firefox and Chrome may have issues. Check ReactOS forums for updates and try older browser versions for better compatibility. Explore alternative lightweight browsers if needed. Stay engaged with the ReactOS community for the latest information.
