Reactos Enterprise/Education Edition

Post by minecraftchest1 »

I am thinking of creating an enterprise release of reactos. It generally just be a standard releases with some additional management tools, and some more fine-tuned settings for managing users. Some features I am thinking of is:
  • Program blocking.
  • Group policy
  • Restricted desktops
  • Restricted logins
What I would like to know is if any of these features are implemented at all, and if anyone has any tips.
Thanks in advance.
My name is MinecraftChest1.
I am a Windows and Linux user.
I have broken reactos once.
That's my resume.

None of these are currently implemented. In the future the only one that is likely to come to pass would be Group Policy (since it's a Windows feature).

In Windows 10, there are registry keys that allow administors to block acess to apps such as cmd.exe control panel, settings, etc. (See here.) That's what I was thinking of when I mentioned program blocking.
Restricted desktop would basically be kiosk mode, where the user is restricted to one app and one app only.
Restricted logins is a feature in Activite Directory that prevents logins for users or groups members outside of specified hours. Of course, it could be expanded to only specified users to a machine (which might also be in AD already.).
