Forks contributions back to ReactOS?

Post by Quim » Wed Feb 06, 2019 11:55 pm

From these forks:

https://github.com/kika123/roscore
https://sourceforge.net/projects/fos/
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/th ... ud-desktop
https://web.archive.org/web/20170904111 ... /wjk/rosng
old Greentea OS (0.5.1) modifications to ReactOS code, that has some things like a cool theme.
what about including Greentea OS Lautus theme in ReactOS?

Do they contribute to ReactOS project, joining efforts?

Check their lastest commits: 2015 (Kika123), 2015 (rosng), 2013 (fos).

The Thorium Core Cloud Desktop would have been developed by our own Project Coordinator https://reactos.org/wiki/User:Fireball (aka Aleksey Bragin). Unfortunately his kickstarter campaign was not a success... Thus as far as I remember no development, rigtht?

Quim... Didn't I already tell you that GreenteaOS will not be used as a source?!

Not that much because of questionable sources, more because they go another way then we do and thus are out of discussion.

ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

The Fusion above, I can't tell what was done and they have no pages discussing it. Besides, it would be incompatible as they use various forms of Pascal and Basic as well.
