JPEG-XL support would basically cover that, as it has lossless recompression. It could be directly added into the OS as part of the already existing NTFS compression, so if it detects JPG files, it losslessly recompresses them.emmayashri wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 12:05 pmAnd For image compression I found jpeg compressor online tool. This tool can compress images without losing its quality.

Very good suggestions by original poster and many others. I hope more people join to develop ReactOS.

Yes, that seems fine to me. Users should be able to do whatever they want with their PC (because that's what they bought it for), and they should be able to do the same with their operating system.
I don't know if this problem exists with ReactOS, I hope not, but when I started using Windows XP, it seemed like it wasn't complete and several .dlls were missing, so I simply copied them from another Windows XP and ported them to my PC, and SURPRISE! From that moment on, XP told me my computer wasn't original (when I didn't have that problem before).
I don't know if this has happened to anyone else. I've downloaded .dlls from the internet many times for applications that need them and never had any problems. Only on that one occasion did I get that warning message. I think this should be avoided at all costs with ReactOS. The .dlls, .ocxs, and whatever else needs to be moved from one computer with ReactOS to another, and if the file isn't corrupted, you shouldn't have any problems porting files from one computer to another.
