And his made an unofficial mirror:

Well, we don't have to approve any fork at all. This is open source. But claiming to be official, even if unintended is a bit too much. Calling it unofficial is fine.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...

... Some Body thought he had the best idea in the world by creating a NON-OFFICIAL reactos GitLab repository by using nothing else but...... "reactos" as his user-name !!!!!!!!!!

https://gitlab.com/reactos/reactos

So that people started to complain on our mailing-list : https://www.reactos.org/pipermail/ros-d ... 18837.html but no-one answered who did that, yet.

Also, please remember that we have our OWN OFFICIAL mirror hosted by OURSELVES at https://git.reactos.org/ .
Despite some conspiracy theories in ReactOS mattermost chat, I am not the master mind behind the fake gitlab.com/reactos/reactos .
As I seee the idea of Rosh post was to suggest to github.com/reactos/reactos responsibles to have ReactOS source code also on GitLab....
It is better to have the project source code in more than 1 hosting service...
According to tutorials and help topics: just importing github project, it is easy to do with just a few clicks, there is no need to upload again all ROS source code, just import.

Well, in mattermost chat one member reveals this unofficial mirror:
https://gitlab.com/reactos-mirror/reactos

So an official mirror could be done, just with a few clics cloning Github repository.

The only official ReactOS mirror, besides the GitHub one that use used for active development, is: https://git.reactos.org/

Is anyone interested in creating and maintaining a GitLab replica of the ReactOS source code that will automatically sync with the ReactOS GitHub repository?

There are 2 GitLab repositories with ReactOS source code

But the code is out of date. Usually, it needs to be updated to stay in sync with the Github repository.

Just now I asked contacts of that GitLab account using the abuse reporting:
The ReactOS project needs a contact with the https://gitlab.com/reactos user.

One hosts the ReactOS repo https://gitlab.com/reactos/reactos under the official organization name:

https://gitlab.com/reactos/reactos/-/issues/1

... but is ignoring the request for 3y already.

I created that mirror. Let me know if anyone from the ReactOS team would like special
access.
My name is MinecraftChest1.
I am a Windows and Linux user.
I have broken reactos once.
That's my resume.

You cannot "take over" or "demand deletion". You can go for is cease and desist in using the trademark, and maybe some liability/unjust enrichment/indemnity stuff which you will be unable to prove. And yes, you have to try to defend your trademark, or it may be deemed an implied license or something.
