Program Compatibility List for ReactOS
Why can't we have a Program Compatibility List in the Wiki, to show what programs are supported with ReactOS?
It can be used to show errors we come across and what does and doesn't work.
Example of PCL:
Program Title | Installed | Runs | Errors | Added by
Age of Empires | Yes | Yes | None at the moment | it2pivincent
The Sims | Yes | No | Won't start without an error (Reported by it2pivincent) | it2pivincent
This will help those who need to know if something works on ReactOS and act as an error log for some programs.
Thanks for checking this out,

this and related links: https://reactos.org/wiki/Testing_Central
EDIT: We do this especially for release candidates. Some years ago we had a real database. Dunno whether this will be reinvented.

Okay, I think we all need to stick with the https://reactos.org/wiki/Testing_Central URL.
Because, It seems to be more like what I was picturing.
Thanks for you help!

Not really, because that position will change according to the current state of development. The current list of tested applications for the version of ReactOS currently under development is the actual state of play... Just because an app works in one version or Reactos does not mean it works on the latest. Things are fixed and things get broken. ReactOS is in Alpha.

Maybe wait until we are out of Alpha??
Re: Program Compatibility List for ReactOS
Hi all, I'm new to this forum and to ReactOS that I haven't downloaded yet but I'm interested in an open source OS. I'm looking for the proper place to ask questions about what out of Windows 98 and Windows XP will run on ReactOS. I don't want to ask these questions in the wrong place so that I never get answers.
Please advise. Thank You! Like many of these forums online I may never find this post again so if someone in charge of this forum could possibly email me or point to this discussion it would be of a great deal of help. I'm not a programmer so I'm a bit in the clouds with a lot of what I've read on this site.
