T-Shirts?

Post by reub2000 » Wed Jan 18, 2006 12:23 am

It would be nice if I could order a ReacOS t-shirt, something with the atom logo and witty or funny line relating to ros. Why not? The sale of t-shirts would create money for the ros project.

Not exactly the same thing. A t-shirt is something you wear in public and is cleary visable.

Cafe Express?

They have something similar with FreeDOS. Cafe Express makes the t-shirts and gives part of the profits to FreeDOS. Perhaps this can be done for ReactOS?

A Creative Alternative?

Post by tomleem » Thu Jan 19, 2006 3:29 pm

A creative alternative would be to download the ROS logo or image and add ones own wording/text. One would then reverse the image and print it onto a t-shirt transfer paper. One could iron it onto a t-shirt or any other cloth item. It might be some work but I have done something similar for Disneys Goofy, eComStation and other items (each a one of a kind item). :)

Wouldn't I need a high res atom logo first?

I found this, but it doesn't have any text:

Ok Logo good enough for Shirt.

Think about it Windows is know for their broken window. What they fix in XP/Vista. Linux is know for Tux. And so on. We need to be know for the atom the Reactos Atom.

Logo on Front Web Site on back with some cool comment.

You can find a .AI vector logo in the SVN.

Then write anything you want by yourself with original font:

If ReactOS had slogan it would be good. Does it have one? Are there any suggestions/discussions about subj?

of the ones listed there (i understand that you can rate them with {{pro}} for instance but i didn't see any such ratings and wasn't SURE where to put them so i left them alone)

i like "pay less, get more" the best. still, it doesn't really say anything about ros except "it's good" and "it's free"... seems a pity not to say more. still best one there. i *want* a tshirt. if they never have them, i'll buy a mug (or two.)

I'd suggest you wait until that one's true before putting it on a t-shirt.
