General Testing for ReactOS 0.4.1

Post by Z98 » Thu May 05, 2016 4:09 am

As the team would like to increase the release cadence for the 0.4.x series, we have put up a release candidate for 0.4.1 that we would like the community to test. The wiki page for the testing can be found here:

Good luck.

the Mouse is not usable under KVM (Centos V7.2).
I tried the PS2-Mouse, the USB-Mouse and the USB-Tablet.

keep on your good work

I'd like to test (install/run) software when needed as the "translation" of the website sail off :(
(not now, as 0.4.1 is out, maybe when 0.4.2 is about to pop up? :P )

I burned the LiveCD for 0.4.1 just now, 4/3/16, and tried running it on two different machines, one with a partition for WinXP Pro, and the other is older Win2000. On both machines, I received a BSOD as ReactOS loaded.

Not a sensible thing to do. Test on a virtual system only and not a system with other partitions, read the installation notes and the guidelines as to what NOT to do.

Also, this is NOT the location for raising installation bugs, this is for general testing of app.s on 0.4.1.
