Vicmarcal is...alive!

Post by vicmarcal »

Hi guys!
First of all thanks for all your kind words of support!
During these month I was creating "something" ...a new website which is about to be released...and that, sadly, ate all my ReactOS Free time.
Thankfully this super-mega-ultra website will be released today!...and hence...slowly I'll "come back" to Ros action, and much more, to ReactOS Community Edition.
I'm preparing during this week a ReactOS Community Edition update...to be published soon...hope you love it! ;)
On track again!

Nice to see you back; it's been around 4 months since you were active at reactos.org! I did read that you were very busy; but where is Z98? He must be busy elsewhere!
Please keep the Windows classic 9x/2000 look and feel.
The layman's guides - debugging - bug reporting - compiling - ISO remaster.
They may help you with a problem, so do have a look at them.

Z98 is currently busy with the CMS experiment until they finish their upgrade before the next LHC restart, so don't expect to see him there apart maybe for removing some spam and/or regulating users...

Any comments are welcome obviously!
Btw, if you can drop nice comments in Twitter or Facebook, they will be really welcome ( so I can get the business going while helping Ros)!

A few constructive comments:

1. It's not immediately obvious what the site is about.

2. What is the intention of "Discover the WeDo compromise"? I first thought that the space was in the wrong place and that it should have read "Discover the WeDo.com promise"! What are you compromising?

3. Google maps! Why not OpenStreetMap? It's much more accurate than google maps!

That will do for now. I may post more later.

Now a more up beat comment; the site looks professional.

Vicmarcal, welcome back! I hope you manage to catch some orders just in time for MWC Barcelona :-)

@oldman - I disagree on some parts:
1) We Do Stands sounds exactly like what they offer. Maybe I have a larger monitor and immediatelly could see the below images of expo stands? Maybe there could be some size changes between the video and pictures, but I can't tell.
(I agree with 2)
3) I as a openness fan would welcome OpenStreetMaps, but Google Maps is usually the industry standard and they will sell to industry, not to openness fans. First of all this would need a customer opinion research.

Having looked again; the home page does not appear (on my laptop monitor) to go further down, because of a cookie warning banner (I ignore them); had it not been there, I would have seen that there was more to the page and hence the products. When I read stands, my mind was thinking of trade fair stands and the like.

This is a typo, because elsewhere it does say promise.
