Holy crap!!!! There are 200-400+ spam comments! Since December 20, most of the rest is nothing but spam, and goes on multiple pages.

Nice one... will show that to Victor ASAP!
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

well there is a report button
people should know how to use it and use it when necessary especially for spam and inappropriate language and out of topic

However, that is impractical when there is such a humongous quantity.

Just as it is here, that doesn't solve the problem.

Ok, let me rephrase that, otherwise some smartasses will claim spam can never be completely solved and more of those Captain Obvious comments:

With a report-button, you do nothing against the source of the problem. The only way to reduce spam, is to make it harder for spam to be placed there, and to make it less interesting to place spam in the first place. There is already a thread made full of excellent suggestions by me and others suggesting ways to reduce spam. Only the will and the time is absent. Especially the first, because once the will is there, one can always make time for it (it then is just a matter of priorities that is given to it).
