Hi,
maybe my questions are slightly redundant due to my lack of following this forum on daily base,
but i am curious
why in svn list "svn://svn.reactos.org/reactos/branches" there are two 0.3.15 branches
ros-branch-0_3_15-lt2013

and 2 other questions:
next release will be 0.3.15 or 0.4?
what functionality is currently available in reactos trunk and/or next release for the
ext2 / 3/ 4 filesystems?
i know there are partial implementations but not exactly what works?
what are these two distinct 0.3.15 branches?

Re: what are these two distinct 0.3.15 branches?
0.3.15 was created as a stable checkpoint when we first started prepping the release. Thomas Faber needed something to show off at LinuxTag and so took the 0.3.15 branch as a starting point to incorporate some additional fixes/modifications/eye candy.
Next release is 0.3.15.
If you want to test ext2 support, be prepared to compile trunk yourself and get busy with the debugger.

So might we venture to assume that THIS is why you are delaying 0.3.15 - to incorporate needed fixes for problems discovered around that the display at that fair? (And, perchance, to kindle people's curiosity at the fair itself ere you release?

Re: what are these two distinct 0.3.15 branches?
Aleksey had to do a fair amount of arm twisting to get the release delayed. It was not for LinuxTag.
Re: what are these two distinct 0.3.15 branches?

Re: what are these two distinct 0.3.15 branches?
It'll probably be released at the same time as 0.3.15 proper. Just be aware that Thomas made it German centric.
