Where to put HAL

I have seen a todo file in <PATH_TO_REACTOS_SRC> media/doc/todo there i found a todo work to put HAL into KM DLL i don't know where to put it either in the DLL folder or into the ntoskrnl.Sorry for my bad english.

Hi anon746874642, thank you for your interest on ReactOS.

However what you want to do is hopeless now, because what you read is 13 years old and since then, things evolved (this old documentation is kept for historical purposes I presume). The Hardware Abstraction Layer is currently a kernel-mode dll, which can be found in <path_to_ros_src>\hal (many versions corresponding to different platforms are present inside this folder, for x86, arm and ppc). The kernel is in the ntoskrnl directory.
