Apps for CLT'13

Post by vicmarcal »

Hi guys!
As you may know, ReactOS is going to be shown at Chemnitz Linux Tag 2013, in Chemnitz(Germany).
Some of the coolest devs will be there. So if someone is near Chemnitz she shouldn't miss the opportunity and curiosity, and other NASA rovers, to meet them.
Also It would be really nice if we could test some new apps in ReactOS so the Team could show some "Epic Wins". Yeah, I know, we've some EpicWins already found...but what about using this week to find a couple of additional interesting apps working on ReactOS?
The best apps we can find working on ReactOS, the better. No doubt :)

Hmm..maybe i worded it bad. Basically I meant: "Pick random, but somekind general-interesting software, and test them. Report those which miracly works!"

No I didn't Maybe I try it tomorrow. Also I should add more Performance to my VM

EDIT:

I tried again with GuestAdditions and more RAM in my VM and managed to get it working at first:

But after some walking around I got a memory issue:

I used r58474 but I will retest it with a revision later than 58487 cuz of the potential mm fix Also I will offer some logs and create an issue in jira if it still not works.

Thanks GonzoMD.
Okay, time for another EpicWin CLT'13 Special Edition.

FoxItReader 4.31.0323
http://www.oldapps.com/foxit_reader.php ... 9032372258

It's working awesome.Testing highlighting, underlining,colors:

Moving through bookmarks, adding bookmarks works too. Also the finder finds words(awesome!)

Dunno why, but foxitreader has measurement tools(areas, point-to-point), here an example:

Resizing, Full screen, 2views, just one, book view, fit to page, fit width, etc works.
But it has a nasty bug. The "File","Design",etc.. menus just displays once...later they looks as collapsed(but they still work).Yeah, to odd to explain with words. Just test it!

A little offtoppic: How do You managed to use VBOX video driver? When I try to use it, it complains about missing file... (when trying to use OPENGL for example)

I just installed the Guest Additions and set Video Acceleration in the VM settings.
