I'd like to join too. I'm proficient with technicalities and computer-related mumbo jumbo. Native Spanish from Spain.
Will be able to do occasional contributions. I'm a Steam Translator too, if that helps.
External patch contributor for ux/user-mode/l10n/winapi. Sometimes I fix a bit of everything everywhere.

Send me an email demonstrating you know how to translate the site without breaking the English content and preferably an example translation.

How can you tell if I write it the right way? For all I know, you don't have any knowledge in the Hebrew language and you have nothing to compare it to

That said, Hebrew and Arabic were not on the shortlist of languages that we were definitely going to support on the site. I don't think we ever had Arabic, and Hebrew did not have a good track record of keeping up with newsletter/news items.

How to understand the "not break the English content"?
Keep the original meaning?

I think he means mantaining the "soul" of the translation. Most of the news are formal, so they should be translated into a formal way too. Other content is less formal but serious, so you will have to translate it into a less formal but still serious way..etc. Translation is not just about translating words, but full meaning and keeping the "spirit" of the original content.

See here. Z98 is a tech person, he doesn't care about the "soul". :)

I think he means not to replace the English text for the English-version of the website, by yours by error.

Such as not converting the English site to German. Yeah, I had no idea what he was talking about either.
