Time format and compatibility

Post by Malba Tahan » Sat Nov 27, 2004 3:46 am

In Portuguese, the right way to write time is like this: 08h25 instead of 08:25. I've already tried to configure Windows to display time this way, but it's impossible because the 'h' character is already used to position the hour inside the string :( . Will ReactOS let me do it the right way? I mean, when you say that you want to make ReactOS behave like Windows, are these boring issues going to be replicated or will we have different ways to do things - and thus not compatible with Windows?

I think the compatability only has to be able to do everything windows can do - not compatabiliy to not be able to do everything windows can't do

you can set it to h'h'm in windows - just make sure you wrap the h you want to display with inverted commas.
