ReactOS Test results 2012/08/10

Post by Techno Mage »

I am a bit short of time this week, so I am yet to expand upon the list of apps I have tested.

This weeks results are from Build 57055

http://reactos.projectmayu.com/

No hardware tests as of yet, will have to reallocate a PC for this job.

Nice!

Same conclusions as I with Firefox.

To work better in internet with reactOS, I recommend you to try Opera Browser. Have some Issues, but works better than Firefox. (For me)

Best Regards!

@TechnoMage

I was unable to replicate your crash with guest addons installed, no matter how much memory or vram i used. Could you please post your ros vm config on that website?

Any changes to the default settings are listed under "Test Environment"

I was refering to your ReactOS VM config file, in vbox profiles directory. Could you also open a bug report, providing some way to replicate the crash?

The BSOD does not seem to happen if I disable VT, so I would say unless you have my hardware, then you may not be able to repo the BSOD
Will put up a bug report sometime today

As to using Opera, I did a quick test last night, both versions listed would not install.

Did you try Opera 9.64? Newer versions indeed, have problems.

Only two versions of Opera are listed in the Application Manager, they are the two versions I tried to install, Both tried to install, but never completed the install, like they where stuck or something.
The bug for the BSOD is already in bugzilla (4591) it involves hardware.
