DriveImage XML V2.60 woks on reactos

you will need to copy wow32.dll from windows to ReactOS/System32 this file can be found on 64bit versions of windows in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 note tested with wow32.dll from windows 7 home premium 64bit

when making a backup image you will need to use Raw mode, split large files, compression, fast or Good (slow) volume locking, and select a different drive to store the backup image Note 1 ReactOS has not implemented volume shadow copy yet

VirtualBox_Reactos_03_12_2020_17_11_15.png (87.08 KiB) Viewed 30280 times
Note 2 if you do not check Raw mode you may get an error "could not obtain bitmap for 'C:'! () you can only create a RAW image"

and to restore the image you will need to use WinBuilder to create a boot disk
restoring the image may take a long time

Note 3 if you try to restore the image within ReactOS you may get "error overflow" this error may be because of an error in the wine version of msxml3.dll edit after manually installing msxml3 this error is fixed

NetScape Navigator 7 works on ReactOS

But only Google works (i think that's because HTML5 and HTTPS aren't supported)...

REAPER 6.xx (6.18 for now) works on ReactOS!
Yes, that's right, this DAW works flawlessly.

Here I downloaded an old version of Magical8bitPlug and Xfer OTT, both VST work fine. I'm sure other uncomplicated VSTs will work fine as well.
I saw another post here about REAPER, the author complained about broken audio. Well, in my case the audio wasn't broken (as it was with LMMS) and it was "smooth". I didn't configure the audio device, left everything by default:

@dsrev I approved your post, but I recommend to edit your images. As you can see external IMG links are chopped, paste the images into your post
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...

Please keep the Windows classic 9x/2000 look and feel.
The layman's guides - debugging - bug reporting - compiling - ISO remaster.
They may help you with a problem, so do have a look at them.

Ruby scripting language and Rexx another scripting language, both work as can be seen in the command prompt window, where it shows the Ruby script running first, then the Rexx script.

tcl runs also, as can be seen in the images. Activestate is the best, as it integrates into ReactOS system well.

All the apps shown in the first image, are tcl apps.

Zero,

Did you manage to burn a disc? If not then it is not an Epic Win!
It shows that the program runs but does not do it its intended role which is, at best a partial win. It needs to work in most major respects to achieve a position on this thread.

No, it isn't letting me burn the CD even though I have selected Passthrough in the Optical Drive that is attached to the VirtualBox VM.
