Re: ReactOS Slogan
We have the technology... We can rebuild it... (Six Million Dollar Man intro, slightly modified)
or maybe:
ReactOS - what Windows *tried* to be
ReactOS - we got Bill running scared
ReactOS - it's not an alternative, it's the future

What's about a more unique slogan?
Windows/MS-bashing isn't that creative, imho.

Re: ReactOS Slogan
It isn't that sensible, either, since the reason the dev team are creating ReactOS is because they like Windows.Speedator wrote:What's about a more unique slogan?

Also note that the slogan for Linux is not "UNIX is teh gay."
EDIT: However, stuff like "open the windows to freedom" is okay, since it isn't actually bashing anything - just making a subtle reference to Free Software, Open Source and Windows compatability. Remember, GNU's Not Unix.

Re: ReactOS Slogan
Yes, all these anti-Microsoft slogans are annoying me. It's like all the ReactOS users have the mentality of 8 year olds. The slogan can sound either stale and corporate, or somehow fresh and original. "Where do you want to go today" was a very good one when Win95 came out, and i still like it.Speedator wrote:What's about a more unique slogan?

Re: ReactOS Slogan
japp, these Linux-Distriebutions be by side of Open Source and want be partners
for Reactos like Wine and other things.. The same is with Microsoft in my oppinion,
but Microsoft had look for manny technicals buying to have by self and make munny
with it and not supporrting realy the evolution of... how ever... there for
sholt be the slogan not agressive or unfrendly/unpartner like.. the mistake was
make'd by Linux to get ever OS-flams Linux/Win32 .. and it is/was in my imho
a big mistake. It shold look like partners who had own way's..
It shold be a free will to take a open Source Win32 System or a Linux System...
I know, in the Win32 it's the future for Users and as Workstation..
that's my point who i think to know.. and this is the point who i am stay and
other shold see in it too.. if they are whant, a frendly Land of Systems to have.
We are in anyway every partners, if bad or good, but we alone can make the pease..
and we shold take the pease to get the thinking in the
right and good way for more positive ideas to have
jointly and together

Re: ReactOS Slogan
Hello. This is my first post.
Anyway, here goes.
"ReactOS because your OS shouldn't cost more than your computer."
"Experience your PC's true potential. Don't let others tell you what you can't do with it."
"Freedom without sacrifice."
"Why pay more to do less?"
"Your OS, not thier's."
"Limitless possibillities."
"Sticking it to the man."
For the live CD: "Wherever you go, it will be there."
For the corporate environment: "Volume licensing, without the volume cost."

Re: ReactOS Slogan
Personally, it appears that Tux9656 has come up with some actually decent slogans
Re: ReactOS Slogan
My slogans
"The free path to the future"
"It reacts efficiently, it is ReactOS"
"Play, work and share"
"A new OS, a new choice"
"Simple and compatible"
"We share, for you"
