ReactOS Support Database submit

Post by temarez »

I can't submit compatiblity test result to Support Database. On step 3 when I fill textboxes and click "Submit" I get following error:
The 'What has been tested and what not' textbox is (almost) empty ...
But there is really enough data in this textbox (more then 270 symbols while other reports contain less info there). Here is what I wanted to describe: Delphi 7

...not yet fixed :-(

So please administrator disable this function!
Because its very frustrating to type a lot of
things and then does not work.
I will not try again so fast...

I use Mozilla 1.7.12 (not firefox).

Very poor :(

Dear Admin.
It would be enough to disable the
test how much was wrote, its a
sucking feature anyway.

Could be possible the bug is more
difficult to find, so the testers can
at least post their compatibility-reports,
even its not an absolut perfect thing.

I would help to find the bug, if there is
any way... I know how much work such
a site could be.

Best regards

Submit Functions Temporarily Disabled

Please use ReactOS Bugzilla for the meanwhile!
The submit functions have been disabled due changed 0.3.x release cylce. Using the ReactOS Bugzilla will help to track down problems for ReactOS devs more easily.
The Compatibility Database submit functions will be re-activated again in (near) future.

Stay tuned.

P.S.:
Bugzilla: helps ReactOS developers to fix bugs
Compatibility DB: helps normal user to find information

reopen?

Can we hope the database will open sometimes again?

I think the database is important to see the progress
of reactOS. I sure not test software only for bugzilla.

Is the problem/bug so big and complicate or it is
a strategically choice to hold database closed?
Or is there just not enough time?

Same question here?
I got the feeling, that it is quite outdated after more than a half year.
So just a suggestion:
Switching it on again, so it can be updated - it IS a nice feature!! - or switching it totally off, to not confuse the users.

Current situation is annoying :(

Sorry, for any related confusion.

As ReactOS get more and more stable again, I will activate the compatibility database in ca. 1-2 weeks.
