Wiki errors

Post by PurpleGurl »

I sometimes get this error when editing wiki pages:

Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data.

You might have been logged out. Please verify that you're still logged in and try again. If it still does not work, try logging out and logging back in, and check that your browser allows cookies from this site.

However, it is usually successful on the second attempt.

Confirming, this also sometimes happens for me.

I've already talked with Colin about that in IRC, and he requested exact reproduction steps. Looks like this happens, if you open page for editing, and don't do any changes about a hour, then save the page.

For me, it happens even if I save immediately. Maybe it happens only for default level permissions only and not trusted users.

If you first do a preview before a save, I think that you will find that the save is then successful.
Please keep the Windows classic (9x/2000) look and feel.
The layman's guides to - debugging - bug reporting - compiling - ISO remaster.
They may help you with a problem, so do have a look at them.
