Mixed content (https / http)

Post by j-p » Thu May 08, 2014 4:13 pm

Firefox warns about mixed content on https://www.reactos.org/ (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... xedContent)

Would be nice if u would change both urls to https (works on both) or use only // and omit the protocol (only if u intend to provide a non-https version of the website). Thanks ;)

Just install HTTPS Everywhere: https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere

HTTPS Everywhere does not have a redirection rule for reactos.org, and since those elements break with mixed content blocking, such a rule would be disabled by default.

(I'm in the process of submitting a HTTPS-E redirection rule for reactos.org. If you could fix that issue the rule would be enabled by default. I hope you consider it.)

For the record, this got fixed a while ago. See associated issue: ONLINE-454.

Also, note that ReactOS website is using HSTS.
