Ooma?

Have any of you ever heard of Ooma? If so, what do you think about it?

Radioshack recently got the product in.

The 250 USD to buy it is a nice deterrent, but it's a one time cost. Looks better than magicJack since it's an embedded device, rather than leaving a computer on 24/7 to get and make phone calls.

Should read the reviews at Newegg. Some people have issues with MAC Addresses already being registered (Which is the only way to activate an Ooma system.)

One time fee of 40 USD for transferring old phone number, and 100 USD a year for premium services.

If you have a router, then you will most likely have to adjust QoS settings to get better quality.
