Hi everyone,
I’m currently exploring the potential of ReactOS for enterprise applications and am particularly interested in its capability to support cloud-based SAP solutions like SAP S/4HANA. Given SAP’s extensive use in cloud environments, I’m wondering if ReactOS can effectively handle such solutions.
Here are a few specific areas I’d like more information on:
Compatibility with SAP Solutions – Has anyone tested running SAP S/4HANA or other cloud-based SAP solutions on ReactOS? Were there any issues with compatibility, and what configurations worked best?
Performance with Cloud-Based SAP Solutions – How does ReactOS manage the resource demands of cloud-based SAP environments? Specifically, does it perform well with the real-time data processing and analytics required by SAP S/4HANA?
Integration with Cloud Services – Since SAP S/4HANA and other SAP solutions are deeply integrated with cloud services, are there any known tools or middleware solutions that can enhance the integration between ReactOS and SAP’s cloud infrastructure?
Stability and Regular Updates – Running enterprise-grade SAP solutions requires stable updates and patches. Has ReactOS shown sufficient stability for running SAP solutions, and are there any challenges with keeping SAP software up to date on this platform?
I’m considering whether ReactOS could be a viable, lightweight option for deploying SAP-based cloud services. Any advice, experiences, or technical insights from those who have attempted to run SAP solutions on ReactOS would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Please note, that ReactOS is still in alpha and gives no guarantee of stability, safety of your files or working at all!
One day ReactOS could be - thanks to its potential - a viable, lightweight option. But not today. Not as long as it is alpha or beta (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_ ... evelopment).
