Hi all,
I hope many of you know that computers take up a considerable amount of energy, thus creating emissions that continue to warm the Earth. As someone who wants to reduce the effect on the Earth from my passion for computers , I present this idea.
Here are some reasons...
1. It will help give ReactOS a positive name to many people by contributing to reforestation and reducing the effect of climate change.
2. It's FREE
3. (Please correct me if I am wrong) It should not be that hard to integrate.
4. Could increase publicity.

Re: Ecosia as default ReactOS search engine?
Ecosia cannot currently be integrated into a website, which would only leave setting it as the default search within a browser. There's not really a (reasonable/usable) browser that comes built into ROS, so when you install a different browser, you get whatever they have set for a default.
It's a nice idea, but there's currently no way to do anything about it for ReactOS.

Re: Ecosia as default ReactOS search engine?
I tried making Ecosia default ReactOS search engine by this method:
Click the three dots in the upper right, then Settings, then Manage search engines. Find Ecosia under Other search engines, click the dots, then click Make default. If you prefer, there's also a Chrome extension.
But it is showing an error message stating "process cannot be complete"
Please help!
Regards,
Lewis
